Slime is pretty much a perfect "toy". We just made some again yesterday. The kids love to help make it, so they learn skills that way. Once it's made, they play with it for ages! For my sensory seeking daughter, it's priceless! She stretches it, squishes it, kneads it, cuts it into shapes with cookie cutters, and even sticks her little plastic animals in it! We played with it for about 2 hours yesterday. What battery operated toy can you say that about? :)

OMG I used to make this in elementary school every year. We had field day and everyone would pick three activities, the make your own slime was always the toughest to get in!
I'm so glad this is getting around, kids LOVE it. And it's really not that messy!
