New Use for Scrapbooking Paper!

RecentlyI needed artwork for an entryway that I was staging.
Here’s what I came up with…

I framed scrapbook pages that I purchased from Target for $4.99. There are several sheets in the pack with different coordinating patterns. The paper is 5×7 framed in an 11×14 frame from Wal-Mart for $3.00 each.
The whole project cost $14.oo, and I’ll have additional paper for another project. It gave the home an updated contemporary feel. Just the way we wanted to greet our potential buyer.

Even if you aren’t staging your home, this is a great way to add a fresh look to your space.
The wall lettering is an UppercaseLiving product.  Tell Meagan I sent you…

Looking for an easy way to decorate your house for the holidays? Try this at home:

You will need:

  • A clear vase
  • Ornaments, plastic fruit, cinnamon sticks, pine cones, acorns, or any other small decorative thing that you can fill the vase with.

Directions:

  1. Wash and dry the vase thoroughly.
  2. Fill the vase with one of the decorative items from above – keep it consistent (either all the same size or all the same color schemes).

This is great way to get the kids involved in decorating the house and you can display the vase anywhere – from the middle of the table, to the coffee table to the bathroom counter.

Get creative and tell us what you’d fill your vases with!

How about these?

We found these at Garden Gate (940. 387-8863) in Denton. They are a unique addition to any table and they’ll fit right in with your lovely spread. In fact, how about right between the greenbean casserole and the mashed potatoes?
