The Donated Room- Owl Shelf

I hope you guys are following along with the donated room series, but if you’re not–I am doing my daughter’s room in our brand new house entirely with donations from Etsy.
Each post in the series features a different artist’s work from the room, and today is one of my favorites: The Owl Shelf.
My daughter loves owls, we watch owl videos on the internet, and there’s even a marginally inappropriate song we sing about owls and Simon Cowell.
So, when The Wooden Owl agreed to donate this fabulous shelf to the room, I was over the moon excited!

Yes, it’s actually that adorable! They used paper and paint and wood, and ohmigosh it’s so perfect in the room. I just sent her a picture of the bedding, and she made the shelf custom for me!
I hung it next to her bed, and we named it Joe Bob–we even pretend he has a funny voice!

Can you believe how cute it is next to the curtain? It matches perfect!
Thanks again to The Wooden Owl Etsy Shop for the best little owl shelf ever!
Here’s a special link to the custom listing where she will change it to match any room’s decor: Link

If I had a little girl (I didn’t) I would have done her nursery in a fun Owl theme. They had these awesome Owl glitter shapes at my local baby store. http://www.lonestarbaby.com/glitter-owl-checked-rustic-alligator.html
They don’t have these on their website, but they also had these adorable wall boards with adorable sayings like “Guess Whoooo loves you?”. So cute. Her nursery would have been darling.
Instead I had a boy and my husband decided on a science fiction theme. Rocket ships, Robots & Aliens OH MY!
